Otherwise, click on the link that says "Download Other Joomla packages" and select the one that corresponds to the version of Joomla that is currently in use on your website. the
- Unzip the contents of the upgrade file to a location on your local hard drive. Go to the "Documents" folder on your computer with the right mouse button anywhere on the screen and select "New folder." Unzip the contents of the upgrade file into this folder. the
- Upload the files. The connection to your Web server via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Download the contents of the upgrade package to the website. If you are prompted, select to overwrite the previous file. This replaces all the outdated files in your Joomla installation and add all the new files, recently in the CMS.
