Joomla is one of the leading Content Management systems (CMS), on the Internet today. Joomla is not only powerful and flexible, but it is also free of charge. These aspects together make it the ideal choice for a lot of people who just want a simple software to manage your website, without learning any complicated programming languages. For those who are accustomed to the encoding of the html of your website, the old-fashioned way, Joomla can seem a little confusing, even backwards, at first, especially for routine tasks such as adding images to your pages. Log in to the Joomla admin control panel. To do this, simply go to the admin login screen, enter the user name and password and click the log in button. On the admin login screen, on the default Joomla installation, go to & #x201C yoursite.com/administrator/ & #x201D .

Think about whether you want to create a new article, or add images to an existing article. If this is a new item, simply click on the button with the inscription & #x201C article to Add & to go #x201D, go to the article composition screen. If you add the image(s) to an existing article, you have to & #x201C article Manager & #x201D go to the article from the search that you want to edit.

Place the cursor in the area of the article, where you want to place your image.

Click button & #x201C image." If you click on this button, a new window will open to allow you to select an existing image or upload a new one.

Select the picture you want to insert in your article. If the image was previously uploaded to your Joomla Media Manager, then you must do all you is, choose from the list of existing images. If not, then click on the & #x201C & #x201D button Browse to add a new image to the media Manager.

Select the options for your image. After you select the image to use, enter a description for the image. In Joomla, the image description in the "alt" tag in traditional html. You can also choose a caption for your image, as well as the decision of how the image will be aligned (left, right, or centered).

Click & #x201C & #x201D button Insert in the upper right corner when you have finished your selection. If you Insert & #x201C & #x201D the image will be inserted in an article, in the place where you placed the cursor in step 3.

Adjust the height and width of the image, if necessary. Click on the & #x201C html & #x201D icon in the Joomla article editor. It opens a window in which you edit the html code in the article, including the size and dimensions of your images. Although, you will have better results, if you use an image editor, such as Adobe Photoshop or MS Paint and edit the size of your image.
