To access the clipboard in my Computer

You are working on a word document, and you need access to an article, you just copied in the clipboard Ask yourself, if there is a way to be in the clipboard to quickly. The clipboard is a memory area within an operating system for items you copy or cut from a document, a webpage or other computer application. Access to the clipboard on your computer is not difficult. In Windows XP, the clipboard can be accessed through the "My Computer" selection.



  • Click on "Start" from the Windows XP Desktop.' the
  • Click on " My Computer.' the
  • Click on the " C " drive icon. the
  • double-click the "Windows" folder. If a message is displayed to explain what is inside of the 'Windows' folder and asks if you want access, you want to click on " Yes " or similar option to access the folder. the
  • Click on the "System32" folder. To explain, if a message is displayed, what is in the 'System32' folder and asks if you want to access, click on " Yes " or similar option to access the folder. the
  • Scroll the window to the bottom and locate the "Clipbrd" file. the
  • with the Right mouse button on the "Clipbrd" file. the
  • Click "Send To". the
  • choose "Desktop (Create shortcut), Select" link to "Clipbrd" on your Windows XP Desktop for easy access to the clipboard. the
  • Navigate to your Windows XP Desktop, and then double-click on the "Clipbrd" to open the file, to the clipboard.
